This year MWC 2019 is full of Foldable phone’s launches. The new trend is going to be set in 2019. Usually when we see the smartphones they changed a lot from past 10 years but the display is same in all of them,but last year smartphone company started bringing the new display aspect 18:9 ratio then after couple of month they also launched notch display. But then too our greed for more larger display in smaller form factor hasn’t died . So companies started teasing in Foldable phone’s in the last quarter of 2018. Samsung’s Galaxy fold is launched at price point of aprox. $2000 . Which is quite expensive in my opinion. Cause these devices are on the initial stage no one is willing to spend $2000 on that smartphone which is totally different from the market instead you will become a “beta buyer” . So this is up to you to buy or wait for more advanced version of Foldable phone coming in near future. Now let us talk about features and specs of the launched devices .

Samsung Galaxy Fold vs Huawei Mate

Both of them are very different when it comes to design. The Huawei Mate X features two FullView Display panels in 6.6-inch and 6.38-inch sizes that jointly bring an 8-inch OLED FullView Display panel when unfolded — without any display notch. Huawei claims that the Mate X has a patented hinge design with over 100 components. For photos and videos, the Huawei Mate X supports a two-in-one front and rear triple camera setup that is powered by Leica lenses. Samsung Galaxy Fold comes with only one screen in the front. It opens and shuts like a book to reveal two screens inside. The phone comes with a wide notch consisting two selfie camera’s on the inside and a triple rear camera setup that sits at the back of phone . There’s another camera on the front – giving it a total of six cameras.

Price of Mate X & Galaxy Fold

The Huawei Mate X price globally has been set at EUR 2,299 (roughly Rs. 2,09,400) for the 8GB RAM/ 512GB storage variant. The smartphone will go on sale from the mid of 2019, and will come in a only Blue colour option.

Samsung Galaxy Fold price has been set at $1,980 (roughly Rs. 1,41,300) and the phone will be offered in four colours – Green, Blue, Silver, and Black.Galaxy fold will be sold in both 4G LTE and 5G variants. According to Samsung, it will start selling the Galaxy Fold from April 26, 2019 in selected countries . There is no comments on the pre-order details right now or exactly which markets will be receiving the device first.
